Max Blackfire is a Dallas-born author who writes plot-driven, high-stakes thrillers that grip and unsettle. With a bachelor’s in English and a concentration in creative writing, he has published three novels and a collection of short stories, each driven by suspense, unexpected twists, and the shadowy corners of human nature.
He is currently developing the second novel in the Copy Kat series, with plans to adapt the books into a television series. When he isn’t crafting stories, Max sharpens his mind with chess, battles in StarCraft II, or loses himself in the worlds of his favorite shows, Game of Thrones, The Office, and Seinfeld, where humor and darkness collide.
In his writing, Max Blackfire delves into the darker corners of human nature, exploring obsession, betrayal, and moral ambiguity with unflinching honesty. He weaves together disparate aspects of humanity, greed, fear, desire, and cruelty into narratives that examine how ordinary people respond when pushed to their limits. Through his thrillers, Max not only exposes the shadows lurking within his characters but also invites readers to confront the uncomfortable truths about themselves and the world around them.
